A
hundred long years
A
thousand different tales
Treasured
myths and cultures
Today’s
meat for vultures
How
shall the world be?
A
hundred long years
Ten
decades of sweat
A
thousand lost memories
Lost
and found treasuries
Filling
world galleries
Shall
cars be made to fly
And
waters take their flight?
As
the ozone veil departs
What
happens to nature
As
we poach the future?
A
hundred years to come
I’ll
be an ancestor
To
a lost race with no culture
For
values have been ripped
The
shreds gone in the wind
I
shall sit and watch
Only
a hundred years from now
Is
a century
